Kohler Credit Union’s Grand Opening Celebration at New Branch in Sheboygan Meijer

KOHLER, Wis. – Kohler Credit Union will be opening its 15th branch location on April 25. The branch, located within the Sheboygan Meijer, will be a full service branch, including an ATM. The new branch will provide extended hours and will support the significant membership base in the area by helping to alleviate traffic to their busy Taylor Drive branch.

On Saturday, April 27, from 12-4pm, Kohler Credit Union will celebrate the grand opening of the new branch. The event is free and open to the public. Visitors can spin the KCU donation wheel, where the credit union will make charitable donations to several non-profit organizations in the Sheboygan area as well as enter to win a 2-minute grocery shopping spree.

“We are excited to expand our footprint in Sheboygan County and continue to build relationships with the members we serve,” says Laura Gabrielse, senior vice president of communication and community development at Kohler Credit Union. “Our partnership with Meijer not only provides an added convenience for our current membership but also gives us the opportunity to share the credit union difference with Meijer customers who are not familiar with our mission and values.”  The credit union also has a Meijer store branch in West Bend that opened in April of 2018.

Kohler Credit Union is a $425 million not-for-profit, financial cooperative, owned and governed by its members. Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Sheboygan, Calumet, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington or Waukesha County; as well as their immediate family members and associations or organizations.
