Please be aware that the risk of financial fraud is currently on the rise. Scammers are looking to take advantage of you during this time of uncertainty. Being on alert and knowing the potential signs of fraud is a good first step toward preventing it and protecting yourself from vulnerabilities.
How to avoid Scams from the Federal Trade Commission
As a result of the increase in fraud nationwide, we wanted to send a reminder regarding Kohler Credit Union’s security practices and how we hold ourselves to the highest regard when protecting our members from fraudulent activities.
We will continue to diligently verify your identity as part of serving you, whether over the phone or in our branches. We highly encourage you set up a password for your account at your next visit to our branch.
If you are NOT expecting a call back from us and someone asks you for sensitive information, do not give it to them. Be aware this may be a fraudster trying to pose as us.
